D has been having problems sleeping...he says that he can't sleep because it is too dark but doesn't want the nightlight on because he sees shadows. He had been waking up now and again with bad dreams so I would get up and tell him that everything was okay. About a week ago, K had gotten up to eat around 4ish and I had just crawled back in bed when I heard D call out. I thought, "Oh, No...not another bad dream - I am too tired to do this tonight." I got out of bed again and went into his room asking if everything was okay. He said, "Yes, Mommy. I just wanted to tell you that I was having a good dream." "That's good - keep having more of them." I said all the while thinking - you couldn't have waited until morning to tell me!
C loves to sing to his little sister and one of the songs that he always sings is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. However, being not quite three, he doesn't pronounce all of his words correctly. He says, "Tinkle, Tinkle Little Star" which I think is absolutely the cutest thing in the whole world, but don't want to correct him for fear that he will not sing it ever again! The funniest part of it is that he wants absolutely NOTHING to do with potty training...much to mommy's chagrin! K loves it when he sings it to her...she gets a big grin on her face and listens so intently.
